i went to Australia this November to attend Corroboree, it was a nice and unforgettable gathering. It was the 1st time i visited English speaking country. Australia is a very nice, beautiful, fresh, well-preserved country, i can say. I do not know how to describe that, but i am sure you also feel or know that Australia is a unique country of its own.
again, after attending the 8 days Corroboree, i wrote the poem below just for sharing:
Coming from different places,
Over to this corroboree,
Radiant welcome warms our heart,
Reunion, this is what i call,
Oh, now i understand that, love
Bring us together as one,
One two three and back to one,
Remember i will always in my heart,
Every moment we have shared,
Every lesson we have learnt
i did not visit city in Australia, but mainly spent my days in country side. To be specific, i stayed in Shepparton, which is known as fruit bowl of Australia. And i can feel and see with my eyes that, Australia, is really a big country. Along the highway from Melbourne Airport to Shepparton ( or any city you go), you can see big big fields with cows, goats, sheeps, horses...
and you can always easily see blue sky white could, and the scenery there is really maginificent, really beautiful, you can easily take any photo and set it as nice wall paper without editing, dont believe me [ sorry, my keyboard apostrophe key is not working, ;( ], see the picture below, i just took it as it is, not any editing, some more i m not really good in taking photo, but how do you think?
while in Australia, i stayed in uncle Simmon and aunty Monique house, they are really kind and made us a sense of home while staying in their house. Thank you, uncle Simmon and Aunty Monique, and also Ding Xen, their son, who helped to fetch us from Airport. I have known Ding Zen since 1998, and they migrated to Australia in year 1999. time really flies. When Ding Zen saw me in airport, haha, he could not recognize me [i think mainly because i m getting older and not as thin as what my image he has in his memory many years back, he was 12 when i know him ], but i m really happy that he still remember me. Ding Zen, nice to meet you again in Australia.
That is all for this post about my trip. More to come soon.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you! Good year ahead!
